• Company-wide AI lead (for the past year): tool evaluation and monitoring, weekly training sessions, hands-on support for colleagues.
• Designed an internal code-review tool: GitLab merge requests prioritised and assigned per developer, with review aids and a friendly leaderboard. It answers a real bottleneck — 4 mandatory reviews per MR and stalling merge requests. Review time cut threefold; used by the whole front-end team, now rolling out to every developer.
• Tax modules: tax returns, VAT, corporate income tax, CVAE, appendices, tax dashboards, filing tracker, CRM.
• Architecture rework: progressively removed the Redux dependency across several modules; tax form state now managed without a third-party library.
• Automated end-to-end tests with Cypress; best practices spread through pull requests.
• De facto Scrum Master: running ceremonies, administering Jira, working daily with PO, QA and back-end developers.
• ~100 features shipped per year; optimisation work cut processing time by roughly 50% on selected workloads.

• Managed and trained a team of 5, less than two years after graduating.
• Tax filing season specialist: maintained and built every form (TDFC, corporate income tax, CVAE, VAT).
• Automated the accounting review: wired together assistants, review workflow and tax returns.
• Built new business modules: loans, leasing, current-account interest, marketable securities, taxable income calculation.

• Built human-machine interfaces in Java and VB giving operators visibility on every satellite subsystem.
• Built the JTOOLS suite in Java: reading RAM and EEPROM memory state, CSV and JSON export.
• Wrote and ran installation and validation procedures for electrical racks, to aerospace standards.
• Wrote a technical specification for a generic electrical rack intended for every scientific programme.
• 8-week assignment in Bristol (2018): interconnected two FPGA boards over an RS422 bus on an avionics test bench, plus a simulation function written in Java.
